and through educational presentations we bring to you.

Raw, Local Honey Direct from Columbus Grove, Ohio

The best way to know if your honey is pure is to know your beekeeper! Even though store bought honey may say “Pure Honey” on the label, there is nothing keeping the bottlers from adding corn syrup or other fillers to the honey. Also, just because it says it’s “raw” it is not guarantee that it is. It may have been heated above the “safe” levels for raw honey.  THE ONLY way to know your honey is 100% raw and pure is to know your beekeeper. Our honey is all collected from hives outside of Columbus Grove, Ohio. We collect, minimally strain, and bottle all the honey ourselves.  And we guarantee it is 100% pure, raw, local honey!

Local & Raw with all the "Good Stuff"

About honey

Throughout history raw honey has been used for a variety of health benefits and medical uses. Today, even some hospitals use it to treat wounds. BUT, these health benefits are specific to raw, or unpasteurized, honey.

Most of the honey you find in grocery stores is pasteurized. This means they use high heat to kill unwanted yeast, improve the color and texture, remove any
crystallization, and extend the shelf life. But when they do that, many of the beneficial nutrients are destroyed.
